The gameplay of Bubble Witch Saga 3 is essentially the same
as the previous games in the series which in turn of course are a rehash of
classic puzzle game Puzzle Bobble. Stages vary from standard clear all the
balls, to freeing caged owls or punching a hole to the top of the screen to release
a ghost. In typical King game style, levels range from super fun and easy to frustratingly
‘I’ve been stuck on this level for like three days now’ hard!
One of the ways BWS3 attempts to stand out from its
predecessors is that you can convert points earned into ‘cash’ to create your
own cutezy scary witches house. You can choose everything from its front door
to whether the house has a tower and what kind of plants grow in its front
garden. The idea being that every new addition you make to your house you share
with your friends on Facebook.
Whilst I’ve been enjoying playing the actual game I’m not entirely
sure I’m the right age and gender for it. Even though I’m in my thirties I
would still expect to receive an atomic wedgie from my friends if I posted my new pumpkin
themed mail box on my Facebook page!
